Take a look at it and the rest of my "project page". Near as I can tell, this one was built in Kansas City before Commonwealth moved to Valley Stream NY.

BWT: The Valley Sream factory used by Commonwealth in 46-7 was the same one used by Columbia to make the J2F-6 Ducks for the Navy during the war. The factory site is now a Home Depot.

Post subject:  Skyranger is sold and Thanks

Skyranger is sold, and thanks for noting about the Ducks. I figured that out during my research into the Skyranger, and I guess it is the closest I could have gotten to a Duck. But the Commonwealth 185 I had was built in Kansas City (first 70-80 aircraft built).
