Post subject:  Irwin Meteorplane - info needed

I´m looking for any information available on the Irwin Aircraft Company and it´s aircraft. I´m aware of an earlier thread: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4452&p=345543&hilit=Irwin+Meteorplane#p345543 and also www.aerofiles.com

I would dearly like to know, if it is known how many Irwin Aircraft of each type were built. For example, how many FA-1s were built?

Failing specific knowledge like that, is there an Irwin Aircraft Company Archive held with some museum or are drawing still available from some source?

The reason I´m asking these questions, is because of research me and a couple of other guys are doing on an Irwin Meteorplane that was sold to Iceland back in 1930. A lot of written material on it (in Iceland) is stating it to be an FA-1, but we are slowly becoming more and more certain it is an M-T-2 Modified (with an FA-1 tail).

Any help appreciated!

Regards,
Sigurjon
