 Post subject: ANOTHER DC-7B Project??
PostPosted: Thu May 05, 2011 10:30 pm
Does anyone know if this project has any realistic chance of suceeding?

This would add another flying DC-7B to the air show circuit (currently The Historical Flight Foundation in Florida has the EAL DC-7B). Looking at the website for this other project doesn't give me any real idea whether this is a realistic project or some kind of a pipe dream. They are asking for financial support, but I wonder if it's worth contributing to or not.

Personally I am more interested in seeing the Airline History Museum's TWA Super Connie back in the air rather than another DC-7B, but I am still skeptical (but cautiously hopeful) about what is going on in Kansas City.

Looks a reasonable project, probably less work needed on one that's been in the desert rather than the Minnesota climate !
