I live about 20 miles north of Opa-Locka Airport where the DC-7 is based. Last weekend, I heard a low rumbling in the distance and getting louder. I sort of have an "ear" for old recips and I soon saw the DC-7 flying north along the beach, about 1/2 mile from me! About 10-15 minutes later, there he went, running south along the beach! It was a great site! |
