Health issues have kept me away from the forum for a while. I'm glad to see it is still active as ever. A lot has happenned since the last time I was here. For one, I sold my beloved C-140 ! Yep, those health issues have grounded me for at least a year and following that, I will be shopping for a 170-B with a partner anyway. Since he had sold his 150 and needed to build time on a tailwheel before we acquire the 170 anyway, he bought my 140 and is now tailwheel rated and having a ball ! A win-win situation...

Because of this, it took me a long while but I finally managed to review all my pictures from Oshkosh and post them on my web site:

- Oshkosh 2010, the warbirds (275 pics)
- Oshkosh 2010, the airshows (72 pics), then
- Oshkosh 2010, general aviation (389 pics), and those include the classics/vintage (many 120s, 140s and 170s) and the seabase.

What a week that was ! Enjoy !

Three nice pictures of my Bleriot XI. That's me sitting under the wing. Did we talk? Thanks for covering the event so well.

Thanks, Michel. Looks like you got the event covered!

I like the mud-deflectors on that Fairchild 24G. I might just copy those.

Wow, what a great effort to catalog all of those photos!

I do note that one of Yak-52 TW listings (with "N???") is actually of NX25YK, a Yak-11 (technically it is a Let C-11, I think).

Hi Michel, nice collection of pictures. I think your mystery Curtiss Robin is probably this one, also photographed there: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Curtiss-Robin-C-1/1775283/L/

Michel, sorry to hear about the health issues. Sounds like you are in good spirits and looking forward. My wife and I must have been close to you several times during the week, sorry we did not meet up.

Cheers,

Eric

Thanks for your concern Eric. Oshkosh was particularilly sweet this year as I knew I had something but only got the details after I came back ! But things are indeed looking very well now. It seems I might have beaten this thing, I will know for sure in December after the scan. By the way, I have read your Oshkosh report in COPA News and really enjoyed it. That was a really well done article with your usual high quality pictures to boot ! It was fun to read.

I only whish my server would allow me better quality pictures and larger size as well, but with the quantity of pictures I have now, can you imagine what the site's size would be !?!? Yikes !

And thanks for your inputs everybody, it's much appreaciated ! I will update the infos soon.
