Simply amazing. Wish I could get this beauty to come to Stratford where her original sisters were built. For that matter it would also be nice to see the former Hughes S-43 and Dick Jackson's S-39 too!

Here is another S-38 at Miami Taking off. Their is a movie camera on the rear of the fuselage as they were filming a recreation of the flights to South America to find the Carnauba palm

used in their Wax.

I caught the S-38 at Oshkosh. Beautiful machine. When it landed after flying in the Saturday show the left gear lag lost pressure. After inspecting the situation the pilot fired up and got the aircraft to move forward while lowering the gear and was able to taxi back to parking. I know I have some evening shots of it but I have not processed them yet.

Have A Hour or so as a pax over Lake Minnetonka and landed on lake Waconia in Mn. Will see if i can find the pic's. It has a beautiful cabin.
