I'm sad to report the Beech 18 affectionately known as "Needle-nose" crashed today near the Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, MN taking 2 lives. This bird was being worked on during WOTN's AirExpo last month after being sold to a new owner. I have some pictures on my home computer of it from July I'll post later tonight.

Yeah, that is terrible. I seen that on the news yesterday.

Here it is in June of 2006 when I worked in EP and was close to the airport.

Was the nose elongated to house a turbine engine at some point in it's past?
