Here's a shots of wixer JCW's Bird BK N1116M at his strip in Canby.
You can see his old NP-1 recently traded to the Tulsa Air Museum in
one of his hangers.
When Jeff finishes his Staggerwing and Eaglerock the Bird's getting
a complete going through inc new fabric. She sure is fun to fly!

Cool Jack! Neat looking bird. Is there anything cool that Jeff doesn't have? I can't wait to see his staggerwing done.

He wants a FM-2. I wish they still had their old BT-13 and SBD/A-24.

I think that Bird use to fly out of Sikorsky Airport in Stratford, CT with Morgan Kaolian.
Good to see it in good hands!

They've had it a good 30 years. Possibly more.

Nope...I have the one owned by Kaolian. It's in my hangar in Doylestown, PA.....

I do like to think it's in good hands, anyhow :)

Steve,
You and Jeff would get along well.
He has a SNJ-4, Stearman, BK Bird, Reliant, American Eagle, Eaglerock A-1,
Staggerwing, Champ and a pile of F6F parts he'd like to make fly someday.
He restored all his a/c from junk with his dad and brother.
Their A-24/SBD is in the AF Museum at W-P.
