Neat stuff.

A number of people looped autogiros back in the 1930s, including Jim Ray (Pitcairn test pilot), and Johnny Miller, who did aerobatics at the Cleveland Air Races, including a roll on top of a loop. Maybe somebody will dig up some film of that to post on youtube.

This first loop occurred in Bridgeport at the plant Sikorsky moved to after the Corsair production pushed them out, not Stratford.
