| Post subject: | Concorde's last flight-1 year ago today |
This time last year the last ever flight was made by Concorde. On a cold and blustery day at Filton, G-BOAF touched down for the very last time in front of thousands of people. It was an incredible occasion and you could really sense the affection the crowds had for her, many of who were in tears. The touchdown was topped by a Spitfire flying over and performing a victory role in salute. A great aircraft-have a happy retirement! Regards, Paul |
