Did you see this on Barnstormers? Drool, drool, drool. It is in a lien sale for a judgement. They would like to get 40K. Sheriffs sale will only allow an arms length inspection. No poking or prodding allowed. Sonoma County CA Sheriffs auction. Is the paint scheme right? It looks like a 1960's Cessna scheme to me.

1937 CABIN CLASS WACO • INVITATION TO BID • To be sold to highest bidder at KSTS - Sonoma County. This sale will be as is. Aircraft appears to be complete. Appears the airplane was put in hangar, with keys in the ignition, 20 years ago. Jacobs engine. Email seller if interested for date and more photos. • Contact Marlon V. Young - located Santa Rosa, CA USA • Telephone: 707.528.2882 • Fax: 707.528.6015 • Posted March 20, 2007 • Show all Ads posted by this Advertiser • Recommend This Ad to a Friend • Email Advertiser • Report This Ad

Here's the old girl in better times. This photo is from 1992. I think I saw here again in Sonoma during 2000 or 2001, but don't recall for sure, pictures aren't filed yet. Sorry about the photo quality.

This is N65201, a 1937 YKS-7 mc/n 4621

For all you movie buffs this aircraft was used in the 1942 movie
"Captains of the Clouds" with James Cagney, Dennis Morgan, and Alan Hale,Sr. The plane had been on floats.

Auction closed w/o making reserve. Top bid $30K.
It's now on Barnstormers at $45K here....Waco on Barnstormers

It originally sold at the Sheriffs auction for $25K and he also bought a Piper Pacer at that sale. The Pacer sold on Ebay earlier.

That's my first look at Barnstormers site. How the heck do you navigate it? How do you find the Waco?
