OK, I guess I'll post these in Vintage, too! Goose at GON today, she was gorgeous!!!! The crummy photos don't do her justice, but I was running around the ramp at work & snapped them quick-quick-like.........

Beautiful pics! I have always been a fan of the Goose - to me, it is a flying piece of art-deco; everything flows together and you can't seem to take your eyes off of it.

Very nice! Have loved the Goose since I was a kid watching Tales of the Golden Monkey! Have dreams of having a Goose to fly around the the islands of the Northwest and the beaches of the Southeast!

N48550 is owned by Larry Teufel from Oregon.
I've seen up close and it's one of the nicest G-21s anywhere, inside and out.
He's flown all over the western hemisphere, from Alaska to South America.

PS He also has a matching Turbine-Goose painted in an identical scheme.

Cutter's Goose (N327 cn 1051) crashed and burned a few years ago after an engine failure on takeoff. Wasn't much left but the nose and outer wing panels. The owner is in the process of rebuilding it using another airframe. It's the oldest surviving Goose.

My dad's dream has always been to own a PBY and just make it his personal world cruiser. Flying from strip to strip. Lake to lake. and everything in between.

Oh yea! I have them on DVD and was just watching a few episodes the other night. FUN SHOW! Makes me feel old watching them!

I saw the web site where they are rebuilding a Goose to include parts from Cutters Goose as mentioned. Will be cool to see it fly painted as Cutters Goose!

Not his dream alone, my man. What a way to see the world!
