I have my page of Oshkosh 2004 vintage aircraft up.

The Jenny and DGA-7/11 are some of the rare ones!

The yellow Howard looks familiar. Is it NC22424?

Thanks for posting, Dan.

I especially like John Drews' Timm N2T-1. You know that bad boy would be winning awards up in the warbird area as well.

John's stuff is always a nostalgia trip for me as well--he was cranking out restorations back when I worked as a teenage ramp rat at his home airport.

Thanks again.

Hi Dan and Dan... this is Dan... :)

I'll check on the Howards N#... I have a couple pictures of it. Thanks for passing on the owners name of the Timm. That is a neat machine. I had never seen one that close. The one in Pensacola is hanging from the ceiling and a friend of mine has parts to one.

These rare machines are what keeps me coming back to Oshkosh. Who knows what will show up!

Nice collection of Howards appeared to be there also, and sure would like to see a Timm in person someday. Thanks for posting all the vintage stuff.............Roger

Thats the one Roger! Eric is a fun guy and I was hanging around the Jenny one day at Oshkosh when they ran it. It is an amazing restoration! Even shot some short video clips of it running. Neat stuff!

Thanks for posting the link to the article!

Eric is a really good guy, he and I have hooked up and flown to a few shows together. He hooked me up with Scott Crosby and Jim Teel a few month's ago, and I was able to shoot the restored GeeBee Sportster before it went to the McMinnville Museum in Oregon. He flew Scott's Piper Pacer as our Photo plane. I also did a shoot with Eric out of his Pacer of Erik-Carl's KZ VII earlier this spring also. Here's the link to the GeeBee article: http://www.landings.com/evird.acgi$pass ... ls-ge.html
