Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any info on the
red Jet Ranger used in the 1978 version of Superman.
You know where it ends up perched on the edge of a
skyscrapper.

The number appears to be N5**ER.

The film was shot at a studio in England (that's why the city looks so fake) .
So it's probably a mockup, or if it was a real helicopter, possibly came off the Agusta production line.

Your right there was a mock-up done in a studio with
the actors but there was also real footage shot in NY
with a real Bell.

I agree it does have an "Auhusgta" built look about it.

I've never seen the film, just clips of Superman lifting the helicopter.
BTW: You do know that the Agusta Bells looks the same as American built units? :)
