Interesting that those photos are from the SD Aerospace Museum archives, I've seen the type listed also as a Consolidated TW-3-

What does it say in the middle of the wings logo? The bottom word is Chummy, what's above that? "Dayton-Wright"?

Also, are those two stars on the cowl for Admiral Moffett?
