Great shots!

Are they going to get it airworthy and fly it to the auction?

The Tri-Motor at Barrett-Jackson last year only went for $1.1M, and there were many of the opinion that, had the aircraft actually been at the auction, it could have fetched much, much more.

A long trip in that plane, no doubt, but would seem to be worth it if their intent was truly to sell it.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will bring anywhere close to $1,000,000 since there are several other very rare antique airplanes currently for sale for less...and have been for the past couple of years. The nature of the economy.
