Where is this airplane? Do you know the N number. It looks just like the one a friend used to fly. He said the old bird was in Louisianna or MS after suffering some damage.

At Deer Park, Washington, there is a sad Twin Beech...engineless wioth some airframe damage...looks like a gear mishap.
Plus a fairly rare Mooney Cadet...a 1 tailed Ercoupe.
Both rotting on the ramp.

Cubs,
This -18 was sitting along a two lane road in SW Alabama...not too far from the Ms boarder, probably about 40-50 N of the Fl line...If I had my atlas, I could be more precise...IIRC, it was just west of an active Navy training field/public airport....there was a T-28 and a NA Fury on the ramp...(Navy version of the F-86)

Found it. And I "drove" right by it, using Google's Street View. The resolution was very poor, so I am still not sure its my friend's (Steve) airplane. It is .63 miles east of Belleville, AL on Highway 84/12. Wonder if any WIXers live nearby............?
