Drove down to Hugo's at Altoona P.A. on the weekend to pick up a set of brand new cowls for my Fleet16r.
For those that don't know Hugo, he owns the name and rights to the Fleet Aircraft Company and the rights to reproduce all Fleet Bi-plane parts.
Hugo , his wife and son Chris are first class people that went way out of their way to help us .
Their shop is first class and Hugo and Chris offer a/c maintenance services specializing in vintage/classic a/c.
Hugo pretty much knows more about Kinner Engines that anyone I have met. His Kinner rebuilds are a work of art and his rates are very reasonable.
Over the years Hugo has managed to create quite an inventory and also has had many new parts manufactured to factory specs.
He has an airstrip on the premises for people to fly in.
If you are a Fleet biplane or Kinner owner, then you have to meet Hugo and Chris.
Stop by if you are in his area. it's well worth the visit.
