Historic Aviation Restoration Museum - Pt. I

Mon Mar 19, 2007 2:46 pm

Greetings All -

A week ago I took off Monday from work and made an appointment to visit the Historic Aviation Restoration Museum at Creve Coeur Airport just west of downtown St. Louis. I'll post a few pics from the museum so that either you'll make an excuse to come visit or make sure you do so next time you're in the St. Louis area. I live here in St. Louis and had not been out there since late 2004 (moving, house remodeling and a 3 year old boy are my poor excuses) and enjoyed the escape. Hope you enjoy the pics as much I enjoyed spending the time at the museum.

Enjoy the Day! Mark

Awsome pics. I asked where this museum was in the other set of photos, but now I know. I am going to have to get there.

No question that is the premier collection of 1930s aircraft in the world. A must see when in the area- even worth a special trip!!!!!

I hear there is a Skyraider and some turret parts there too.

What, if anything, is airworthy? Some interesting planes there.

If it looks airworthy, it is! They have to fly them out when the floods come every few years.
