looking for DeHaviland Gipsy Queen parts source

I'm looking for a source of parts for a DeHaviland Gipsy Queen 30-2. This engine has been chosen to power a recent-build Fokker D.VII replica and needs overhaul.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, I was busy writing up about some other DH product! Sorry I can't advise in any particular direction on Gypsy sources, but here's a couple of thoughts of people essential to talk to:

The DH Moth Club

de Havilland Support Ltd.

They are the start point for global networks; I presume there's US elements that would be the next tier equivalents.

And it's 'de Havilland' not 'DeHaviland' (lower case 'd' unless in the abbreviation, 'DH'; space after 'de' and double 'l') and it's Gipsy, not Gypsy! [EDIT: As Andrew's rightly corrected me!] I mention this as they're all relevant for effective searches.

Thanks James, I always have to look at the correct spelling of de Haviland, but 'Gipsy' was made clear several years ago when I was networking here while involved with Lone Star's Tiger Moth.
One of my first leads I checked was to the dh moth club in the UK since I'd kept that contact available. The best lead so far is from that network too, which isn't surprising.

On topic, I'd suggest you might want to see if you can get into a US Gipsy network, for more local benefit. Sorry I can't help there.

I know that Dave Watson at Santa Paula does Gipsy Major parts, he may be worth contacting to see if has any leads on Gipsy Queens
