Those magnificent men in their flying machines indeed! This is an HD video of a Curtiss Pusher reproduction taking its first test flight on June 22, 2012. Doesn't get very fast or very high, just some old school "gliding". Some nice onboard GoPro footage in it too. Pretty cool!

Just saw this on Kermit's Facebook page. The Curtiss Pusher has always been one of my favorite aircraft. I would love to get behind the controls of one of these...

That Curtiss was built and flown in Idaho, it did several hours of flying there before Kermit bought it, but this is the first time it has flown in Florida.

You are correct Baldeagle. That should have read, Kermit Weeks takes HIS first test flight in his Curtiss Pusher.
