Just curious, what ever happened to the Douglas Wold Cruiser that at one time was part of the Museum of Flying's collection?

The project got evicted when Plant 2 was given it's death sentence. The website hasn't been updated in a long time and they've missed their two (so far) reenactment flight dates, one supposedly in 2009 and one supposedly in the Spring of 2011.
I believe they are still in the old Robertson Hanger @ Renton Muni, at least that's the address shown on the website but pretty much it's been the sounds of one hand clapping for some time now.

I think he's talking about the real one that was in the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica. It was one of the original ones and on loan from somewhere else I believe.

I believe it is in storage with the LA County Museum of Natural History. I wonder if it might go back on display with the 'new' Museum of Flying due to open at Santa Monica in November.
