Nice Waco project for sale

Tue Feb 02, 2010 5:50 pm

Hey guys,

I just found a nice looking project and at what seems to me to be a great price. Boy I wish I could afford that.

RARE 1937 WACO EGC-7 • $35,000 • FOR SALE TO GOOD HOME • 1 of 8 C-7 custom cabins known to exist in the world. . In 1937, the top of the line Waco was the Custom Cabin C-7 with the Wright engine. This was the fastest plane Waco had, and was a direct competitor to the Beech Stagerwing. Exactly 5 of these EGC-7s were produced for the US market, this is the last of the 5 and one of two still in existence. The plane is complete down to the ash trays, with the exception of the cowl and wheel pants. You will get all extra raw materials that I have including blueprints. I can help with loading and delivery for expenses. (406) 722-4577. $35,000 • Contact Robert Sneberger, Owner - located Alberton, MT USA • Telephone: 406-722-4577

I hope someone out there can give this project a good home.

Peace,

David

The only problem is that it needs four new wings. The originals are good for patterns only. These are VERY complicated as they are different than any other Waco wings and the drawings are limited. The two engines are cores. Price to sell is in the $25-30K range at best. There are several other models currently for sale in that $25-30 range, including one that flew home before being disassembled.

And neither core is a Wright R760-E2. One is a Jacobs L-4 and the other an L-6
