My turn to ask, I just finished watching a travelogue on TMC about New Brunswick done in 1938. Featured in the color film was a black with red trim WACO cabin on pontoons, Canadian registration CF-AZQ. I wonder if the old girl is still around and where she may be now, 71 years on? :?

CF-AZQ was a 1936 Waco YKS-6 s/n 4525 owned by the Minister of Lands & Mines in Fredricton, New Brunswick. Not currently around anymore.

Thanks for the quick reply and too bad because she sure was pretty taxiing in the sunshine back in 1938. THe whole thing sort of meshed after watching 'Captains of the Clouds' earlier last week-

Ah......"Captain of the Clouds".....one of my favorites!!!!! Not too many of the old bushplane Wacos left. I got to fly one, CF-AZM, a 1936 EQC-6 when owned by Jack Landage of Calgary.
