Hello,
it took me a bit but finally concluded a large chunk of the trip I did last June (yeah, I know, kinda slow...):
floatplanes around Vancouver
Visit to Conair at Abbotsford
Two pages on Red Deer: one on Air Spray and one on Buffalo Aws
Museums: Langley,BC, Aero Space Museum (Calgary), Reynolds Transport Museum (Wetaskiwin) and Alberta Aviation Museum at Edmonton Mun'l.

Nice collection of photo's and info as usual Ruud. I tend to think you must be single; I don't think most of our wives would allow us the perfect vacation such as you had?

no, but maybe I am getting there with the time spent on the pc... 
the hours are mostly due working shifts, rotating through day shifts, evenings and nights.
As long as I am doing my bit of the household chores (repairs, dishes, vacuming, groceries) and get the dinner on time on the table... I don't have a problem working the pc when the family is at work / college !
Only have 1 son who is about to move out: over the past years any polite inquiry or suggestions gets my head chewed off so no time wasted there either (I am kidding, he is ok, we go to concerts together... if I am paying for the booze...)
During nightshifts I often get a chance to work on my laptop; my wife jokes that while many a husband takes his work home I am the only one who takes his personal stuff to work (lol)
I would probably live longer if I turn something of this pc-quality-time into physical exercise, but then no one is perfect!!

I know what you mean, I bought my first ever membership to a gym two months ago, and have yet to go. Once I hit the computer after work, that's it for the evening.

Funny, I have been considering such a subscr to a gym nearby for the past 3 months, as I have a knee protesting on the occasional jog out in the neighbourhood and might be better of in a gym, easier on the limbs and would keep me at it a little longer as well...
But then I ordered the DC-3 Air-Britain book(s), had my son's pc repaired, there was X-mas coming and the time needed for the digital workflow..
Mind, I had no physical problems clambering all day on the stored planes of Buffalo with a 20kgs camerabackpack (page to be added soon), so it's not all that bad!!

Great pictures of all the sites in Western Canada.
You should have asked me about Delta Air Park before you came over. I could have told you that it's not a very busy airport. In the 80's, that airfield was were my father brought me as a little boy and that is where I fell in love with aviation. There used to be many, many Harvards, a couple T-28's, etc. there. Since all the constant threats of shutting it down, many warbirds, and non-warbird airplanes have found other homes at Boundary Bay Airport, Langley, and Abbotsford.

from someone else whom I met at Vancouver, I had received the advise to go to Boundary Bay AP for the warbirds but that day I spent some time (before breakfast) at the South Terminal watching the floatplane activity, had breakfast with my wife (plus watching the World Champion Soccer match on telly in the restaurant) made may way to Delta Airpark and 1 hour b4 closing got to the Air Museum at Langley...
Had a good day.
