I was invited to a private strip for a barbeque after the Watsonville Air Show on Sunday. These are just a few of the planes that were there.

It also has a seaplane strip.

Is that a Clipper on floats? Is he in a canal?

Looove that Swift! (minus shark teeth). I'd have never thought of that paint job on a Swift though... looks nice.

Hey Roger, do you know Ozzie Nelson out of Cameron Park? He had a Swift a few years ago that he lost in an accident... I was wondering if he got another. He flew for CF for a time and had us over at his place for a BBQ while in Sacramento.

Yes, the Clipper is on floats, and in a channel, just for seaplanes.

I've seen Ozzie a few times since his accident and he was either planning or had bought another Swift project as I recall. I don't recall seeing him at any of our shows last year.

Ryan, here's another one that arrived while I was up flying, without the extra paint
