I was, but I found full size aircraft to be cheaper to fly. Well, at least I don't crash the full size ones as often! ![]() Most of the photos are gone now, but there was an R/C model thread here: http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... highlight= |

I am in the process of researching the Brian Taylor F4U Corsair (1/6 scale). I am looking for the oil coolers and cockpit kit but they I have not found a source yet. I will probably have to scratch build them. I will probably be buying from Bob Holman. He has the cowl and canopy available, as well as the BT plans. I do not want to cut the wood myself so I will probably find a kit cutter. What are you into? |

rwright142, I'm currently working on the plugs for a glass fuselage and center section for the Taylor Corsair which will be molded by a buddy of min in So. Cal. The Holman accessories for the Corsair include fiberglass wing "cranks" which encompass the oil coolers, though there is no internal detail to them. Word on the street is that Taylor is slowing down on making his stuff and it may not be available for much longer, get it while you can. I talked to Holman a few weeks back and he does not have any cowls or canopies for the Corsair right at the moment but Taylor was supposed to start supplying stuff again at the end of the summer. I'm also working on a whole bunch of other R/C warbirds including a Midwest AT-6, Top Flite P-40, Platt P-51, Taylor Spitfire, Top Flite Sea Fury, and the list keeps going! |

I'm into RC Warbirds. I'm currently building a Top Flite P-47. I am almost to the point of fiberglassing the fuselage and the wing. |

I'm a RC Warbirds beginner--just got a Parkzone FW-190 and I love it. When it doesn't try to kill me. ![]() |
