This is a fantastic model and a fantastic idea! If you would accept one minor critique... There is a disc on your model between the exhaust and the engine cylinders. I think that is meant on the model to represent the engine baffles. That should actually be located at about the center of the cylinders. To a T-6 owner it stands out a little, but probably not noticeable to anyone else. I wouldn't change it though and mess up what you have already accomplished. Great effort, it really looks real! Thankfully we don't see many derelict like this any longer... ![]() If you are in the mood, you might consider doing more in this same theme. I really like it, and there are probably enough pictures around of authentic subjects to keep you busy for a while. |

Some had long civilian careers and some never left the airport and were put aside and scrapped after years of just sitting and rotting away and being picked apart by vandals. Some seemed to always get a reprieve from the cutting torch to someday fly again! |
