Post subject:  Here's how to 'correct' FS paints to match CURTISS colors

Tripped over this while wastin...er...doing serious research online earlier today. GOOGLE ratomodelling.com and click onto the Antrvm Ratvs-CURTISS link listed, link includes a photo of CURTISS workers using the rubber masks to lay out camo patterns on a P-40 wing.
This guy has figured out how to tone FS and ANA colors to match the DuPont shades that CURTISS used, lists mixtures, percentages of tints and an extensive cross referencing chart for all widely used model paints.

What I was looking for were pictures of the experimental twin ALLISON powered P-40 straffer :supz:
