Picked this one up at Airventure this year, thought it would be fun for Christmas. And since this was about fun, I wanted to paint it like I remembered 51's as a kid, namely Paul I. Wanted to have a little fun with the name too.

Nice!

I've got a couple of 1/144 fighters I use as Christmas ornaments: a really craptastic P-47 from some unknown Asian company, and one of Sweet's stunning Bf-106fs. I just wasn't comfortable putting something with a Nazi swastika on my Christmas tree, but fortunately one of the half-dozen markings options for the 109 was Hungarian, which was winter white, with festive holiday red and green tail stripes!
