I need to put markings on my 1/48 Hasegawa F4U-4. I'm building it to depict #111 AF tailcode,VMA-211,onboard CV-43MedCruise,1952-1953. The AF on the rudder is unique to this squadron. Lower bar of A is even with lower bar of F,instead of the way the NAVY/MARINES modex is normally depicted. Aircraft has Red/White spiral on prop, Red/White stripes on wingtips,rudder and tailcone. What is best to use to depict cowling code, rudder modex and wing codes? Would Letraset transfers be better? |
