I'm part of a group called Northwest Scale Modelers and we have a display case in the Museum of Flight that has a rotating theme. Tonight the new display, Records & Firsts, goes in. I ended up throwing together the 1/72 Revell SR-71 for it. It's straight out of the box and came out alright. I have it with me at work so decided to take some shots.

After finally finding a 1/144 kit last year I was gonna get rid of mine too but then this display came up and it's in 1/72 so there ya go. Still don't know where it's gonna go after the display as it's pretty big.

Blackbird is a fun kit because it goes together so different than most and other plane.
Nice, clean work.
