Hi All,

I am building a 1/48 MiG-21 and am looking at a North Vietnamese scheme (natural metal finish). Can any one advise me on the ff:

1) Color of the wheel wells: where they light grey, light blue green or just in natural metal?

2) The landing gears: light grey, natural metal or light blue green?

3) Since this is a PF version, did they go into combat with the GP-9 23mm cannon pod and did they use tehe K-13 AA "Atoll" during combat?

Thanks in advance,

8)

The NMUSAF has a MIG 21-F on dislpay in the Modern Flight Gallery. They also have some photos on it's web site. If you do not get your answers by next Wednesday, let me know, and I can take a good look next Friday the 4th when I am scheduled for my next volunteer shift.

As I know in that time there was used silver paint for protection of the landing gear bay. Blue green comes later. If the airplane is camouflaged, then the u/c bay is in the bottom camouflage colors.

Hope this help :)
