Post subject: | Looking for Condor Decals |
I just openedd 2 1/72nd Revell Condors I got off of E-Bay a few montha ago and to my dismay the decals had turned to dust. Does anyone know of a company who would have a decal sheet for the Condors? |

ESCI made a sheet of Fw-200 decals, but the company has been out of buisness for many years. You might still be able to find some on the secondary market, but I've found ESCI decals to be so thick and stiff as to be almost useless..and that was when they were new. Micro Scale also produced a sheet that featured an Fw-200 (along with a Zero, Ki-84, and Bf-109.) Unfortunately I don't have the number handy. It's also out of production, but might prove easier to find than the ESCI sheet, and the decals are better quality. A word about older decals..many times they can look good on the sheet, but disintegrate when dipped in water. With older decals I always brush them with a coat of Micro Scale Liquid Decal Film to seal them as a precaution. SN |
