Ok so these aren't my pics but very cool shots taken by a gentleman named Kevin Kuperberg that I met at the show that was kind enough to forward me these pics. I plan on taking more pictures for myself when the chance arrives. But for now on to the pics........
"Debriefing at Debben"
"Mission Scrubbed"
"Birds of a Feather"
"Merciful Opponent"
"Maintenance in the Bats Belfry"
More hopefully later if anyone is still interested..
WK out...

Cool! Rather small ones! Could set a penny or a quarter next to them to help give a sense of scale. I'm guessing about 4" across?

Neat, how did you make the canopy for "Debriefing at Debben" ? Thermaform?
And the nose art on the B-25, is that paint?

The forward and rear section of the canopy is the original just cut up. I used clear sheet styrene for the opened section of the canopy to add a little detail.
The bat nose was an old Aero Master decal that had seen better days. But I was able to get it on the plane in fairly one piece.

Holy crap! I can't even imagine trying to work that small, even in my younger hard core model building days.

Those are all excellent! I like to throw together these little kits now and then but my results are far from this.

Thanks so much for the input guys!
But wait a second Spooky! I've seen some of your 1/144ths and I must say, you do some nice work! Im quite envious of your Platz builds as well as your Shangri-La!

Heres a shot I took myself tonight of "The Bat". Definitely not as good as Kevin's camera but heck, it works.

Very nice indeed. You must have a steady hand and great eyesight.

Whatever happened to your Ole 927/Diamond Lil build?

Ah yes, my 927. Might have to pick up that project again. Haven't really done much else on it, but I now know what I'd like to do with it, and feel a little motivated. (Aside from all the other crap I probably should be doing before I touch another model!) I believe Trae came up with the best scenario for displaying it so stay tuned.

Those are awesome!
Where did you come up with those birds sitting on the Corsair?

by Jerry O'Neill
They were testing a new protective measure theory when they originally put the Corsair on the pole back in 1971.
They felt that over time, the bird droppings would form a protective "cocoon" around the airframe, hence full protecting it from any further rain, deterioration or damage.
I guess that idea was proved to be not so good for aluminum aircraft displayed out doors in a salt air environment!
