I was just wondering if anybody out there has modified the 1:18 Scale "toys" that are out there.
By modify, I mean anything that you did to it besides what came in the box. Kit-Bashing, re-paints, super deailing etc.

In case anyone is still interested in the big 21st Century models, I just started to rebuild and superdetail the 1/18 scale P51D. After taking the model apart, I started working on the cockpit. Here's a picture of the instrument panel and weapons console. the upper portion is scratchbuilt while I used the existing console after stripping off the detail and rebuilding it.

The seat is actually a piece of padding covered by real leather, It's probably not accurate but it looks cool.
