I just saw a neat video on walkalong gliders. I've never heard of them before. Has anyone made any and fly them? http://www.geocities.com/x_surfer2004/index.html |

http://www.geocities.com/x_surfer2004/index.html I hadn't seen one of those before, but I have seen a YouTube video of a fellow with the store bought Wind Ryder flying it using his hands to create the ground effect. |

i know a guy that makes them. they are as light as a piece of lint. he does endurance competitions with them, no fanning required. it's fascinating as a science & takes gentle skill to build them. when it comes to flying them though, i'd just prefer to stare at my eye lids. zzzzzzzzzzzzz |
