Post subject:  C-47s interior color

I am looking for painting specs of C-47s used in WW2. Currently someone is suggesting that they were Interior Green and A bluish green like the restoration C47 has in the fuselage ,in the St Mere Eglise Airborne Museum. I say nay. Douglas would only use the same color throughout.

Any suggestions as to the difference ? or any intell to prove the correct scheme?

There used to be a C-47 carcass at the Muskogee, Ok. airport with what appeared to be the original interior color and placards still in place. It was interior green throughout the fuselage. I have no photos to back it up or a serial number for the machine. Sorry to be so vague, but it's gone now.

Here's a link with some possible help: http://www.historylink101.com/ww2_color ... _1888.html
