Hi everyone and Happy Holidays,

Been lurking a bit but wanted to get some advice.

I just finished this kit and am pretty pleased with the model. It fought me pretty hard along the way (fit) but I think I got it licked pretty good. I still dont have a darn compressor so I used a Metalizer spray on most with the details being brushed.

Well here it is....still need to do some finishing but this is it pretty much.
(dont bite my head off rivet counters....the two crew canopys windows behind the pilot have been painted....a big foulup on my behalf. They were tiny at least )

Does anyone know any good techniques for concrete texture and paint?
I put plaster down on the base I built and tried a number of shades and methods but none Im happy with yet. Next I was thinking of mixing a bit of fine sawdust with the paint for the grit but I really dont know what shade to try next.

Thanks in advance.

:D

*edit* Wow I just realized this is the first jet Ive built since I was a teenager about 15 years ago.......Its been nothing but WW2 since then.
