The other guys from MMP have posted the pics from Scale Modelword. Here's a selection, and the link to the galleries is here: http://mmpbooks.biz/SMW_2008/SMW_2008.html

Feel free to hotlink any pics that particularly catch your eye. These are just a few that I thought worth noting.

Cheers,

I cannot tell from the photos, do you know if that is a custom decal for the Mike Brown Fury. Hard enough to make as a decal, but if that was painted...

I really liked the navalized German planes:

The Macon conversion was nice too. I don't know if it was you who took the pictures, but as somebody who builds really small stuff. I would have liked to have seen what that tiny plane looked like.

Hmmm...hotlinking didn't seem to work.

Picture #13, that is a lot of Phantoms.

It looks like the photographer was impressed with the Seafire III too, pics 37-39.

G'day,
You've got to hotlink to the pictures, not the pages.

Yes, I dunno. Impressive either way. Producing one-off decal designs seems to be within many people's ability these days, so I'd guess a decal.

Nice. Not sure about the deck length!

Not me, I'm 12,000 miles away. It seems however many pics you take you miss something!

Ah, that's a little different than I am used to, sorry.

Like most model shows over here, there aren't many kids...until this picture:

I hope that's from make-and-take.

I figured that was the case, even when I take the pictures I miss things.

Where would you put a proportional flight deck.
I once started a 1/144 scale USS America...about 7' long, I wised up and shelved the project, along with the 1/96 scale QEII.

That is funny and creative, but somehow, just so wrong.

That is the new Fisher 1/32 scale kit of Sept Fury. The fuselage graphics are all decals. http://fishermodels.com/store/item/2sje ... _Fury.html

Not by me, I'm afraid. I remain in Aus this time, and will also next year. But do say 'hi' to the guys on the stand!

There was a company called Thrust Decals that was producing quite a few Reno aircraft decal sets but they called it a day and Draw Decals will now be printing them at some point in the hopefully not too distant future. I can't recall if they offered this Sea Fury but here was a pretty good variety of T-6's and Mustangs. Keep checking in or get some very nicely printed airliner markings in the meantime.

Yep, they’re decals and they come with the kit. Here are some pictures of the model when brought into our pits by Paul Fisher during Reno. It’s a very nice and well detailed model.
