I had a pink 24 once. Actually bit the dust not too long ago. Just didn't have room for it.

Very nice! What markings are you planning to put on her?

I had always wanted to do her in the "Lady Be Good" markings, but couldn't ever get enought detailed, before crash, pictures.
So, her she sits.
It may just get some other markings, maybe Ploesti raider markings???
Undecided.

The "Lady" carried fairly basic markings. Just "star in circle" insignias, a black tail number "124301," and a white "script style" number "64" on either side of the nose. She also apparently had "Lady Be Good" painted in white cursive letters on the right side of the nose. Someone on WIX posted a pic of the wreck taken in the mid-60s that shows part of the name poking out above the sand.
The insignias and numbers would be easy enough to find. For the "64" you might be able to find decals in a similar font in the model railroad section. As for the name, you'd probably have to paint it freehand.

Nice clean build!
Looks like she just rolled off of the assembly line and is ready for markings.
