Post subject:  Some of my collection

I thought I would share some of the models I have built. All of them are in 1/48. Most were done some time ago when I was in my early teens, the most recent are the T-6 and TBM probably about two years ago. While my skills aren't up to that of some of the people on here, I do something unique in that all of my models are after currently flying warbirds. I do all of the lettering/insignia myself with paint so I use very few decals. I find it extremely difficult to do this painting once the model is completely assembled so that's why you'll still see many of the seam lines (ex. where the wing meets the fuselage). I'm currently working on the CWH PBY, I also have a model of Fifi, Briefing Time, Barbie III, CAF Helldiver, and some more.

Thanks. Most of my models have been from Monogram. I think they usually put out good kits and really have a great selection as well. I have some Testor's, the only ones that I really like from them though are the Ryan PT-20 and the O-2. That's probably because no one else makes those types.

Bill Bruggeman's CA-18 A68-198 is currently painted as "Short Fuse Salle". Hopefully that means you'll still get a chance to see the one in your area.

Thanks, those aren't decals, Baby Duck was hand painted. As far as I know it's still in the Philly area and is owned by Joe Scogna. Last time I saw it though was probably in 1996.

Wow, very nice job hand painted. I was going to say, I've never seen that decal set anywhere!!! Excellent work!

Dr. Scogna is a neurosurgeon in the area, but I haven't been able to find anything on Baby Duck since about late 90's, nothing at all. Wonder if it's being worked on, in storage, and more importantly....where!!!?? Yardley PA is my hometown! Thanks though for the info, maybe sometime I'll find it!
