Well, any epoxy will work. Its just a matter of sizing up the creature you want to make: (Drawing out the shape of whatever you want to make, then cutting it out.) For example the seagul is a two piece project.

From there it was a matter of super gluing the body onto the tip of a toothpick, then gluing the wings onto the body. Probably a 5 min Epoxy would work even better then the Raychem since its 5 min quick dry and not 5 hr slow dry. Once you have applied the epoxy onto the cutout mold (gingerly) and it begins to set, you have the opportunity to pull certain features out that are wanted.
Example: When the two Scottish Terriers were created for the Hurricane diorama, the tails were made by just pulling gently when the epoxy was curing.
