My name is Jim Webb. I am a retired boom operator and flight engineer. I have been working a creating a book that covers the history of every single USAF air refueling squadron since their activation. The book starts in 1948. I have collected thousands of images, tons of monthly history reports, every single squadron emblem, and many stories. The book will be valuable to modelers, historians, crewmembers, and patch collectors. It will be the bible of USAF air refueling.
I am looking for anyone that has digital photos they can share in the book. They have to be high-quality scans. In return, I can share tons of digital scans and help you with the histories and markings for your aircraft. I have developed lists for every single tanker that details their histories since being ferried to their first squadrons.
I know there are guys that build KB-29Ps, KC-97Gs and KC-135A and Rs. I can help you with those and KB-29Ms, KB-50Ds, KB-50Js, KB-50Ks, KC-97Es, KC-97Fs, KC-135Bs, EC-135As, EC-135Bs, EC-135Cs, KC-135Ds, and KC-10As. I have tons of photos of very early KC-135As in color.
Anyway, if anyone is interested, my e-mail address is:

Here is an example. It is KC-135A 57-1509 that belonged to the 901st Air Refueling Squadron of the 4228th Strategic Wing at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. Hopefully the link works.
