TBM Tanker conversion

I am currently building a Monogram/Revell TBM and converting it into a firebomber. I could use alittle advice as to how to fill in the area behind the canopy where the turret was, a plug you might say. Anyone know of how to do this? Write me with a tip or two if you can.

I'd probably use sheet styrene for the rough work and blend it with Bondo spot putty (or your filler of choice).

Lone Star Models make a 1/48 conversion set for the TBM if that is of any assistance.
