Last weekend (and this week I think) Hobby Lobby has there famouse 50% off sale! I got a 1/32 F-14A for $20, and a 1/48 F9F for $6.50! I had to cut back this time. 
In the past I have gotten a 1/48 PBY and countless others. (Which I still haven't finnished!)
