I know, I know... I just didn't have it in me to chop them off. Besides, I can just say it's a model of the Vintage Wings Of Canada bird. There. That's my story and i'm sticking to it!

Is that a thumb print on the cowling? I have noticed when I build models, I find all kinds of things in photographs I never see with the naked eye.

Love those Tamiya Corsairs. Like Polystyrene Crack they are. I have one finished (as a Brewster F3A) and have 5 more (yes, 5) under construction in the pipeline now.

Spooky,Real nice Tamiya Corsair. I doubt anyones really going to cut up a warbird and clip its wings,unless its a racer. I have a 1/48 Tamiya F4U-1D that I'm converting into Race #1. I've clipped the wings and have a plastic card firewall and wingspar. A-26 cowl,Skyraider prop and Sea Fury spinner. A P-51H spinner was also used on the real bird. I need a R-4360 for it.
