As many of you would be aware, the project is the sequel to HBO’s critically acclaimed series, Band of Brothers and is one of the largest productions ever to be hosted in the State – both in terms of Queensland spend and crew size (with two full Units filming, in some instances simultaneously, on the one location).
The large coconut grove in the second shot was one of two planted specifically for the production. Under normal circumstances the grove would be a cane field – one of many fields on a very large working cane property in FNQ.
