Buckley Homestead WWII Reenactment - Lowell, IN May 3 - 4 2008 http://www.lakecountyparks.com/WWII%20General.htm From Indiana Aviation Museum website: Military Encampments: U.S. Army Infantry with 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions Polish Infantry (speaking Polish) Canadian Infantry British Infantry and Airborne German 116th Panzer Division (speaking German) Equipment: German and American Tanks German Panzerfaust (nicknamed "toilet plunger") and Panzershrek ("stovepipe") German BMW motorcycles with sidecars German halftrack American M-1 Garan, Carbine, and .38 "Grease Gun" Actor carrying "grease gun" portrays Frank Lillyman, first paratrooper to land on French soil Much, Much More! Aircraft Overhead: 1942 L-2 "Grasshopper" Spotter plane with D-Day markings flown by IAM L-2 will search out enemy locations and report to Allied Command Indiana Aviation Museum's 1945 P-51D "Mustang" with D-Day markings will do strafing passes to counter German armor.
