If you are a hard core WWII re-enactor like me, then you need one of these. A contact I made is bringing some real WWII ones to the Aberdeen Proving Ground Military Vehicle show end of this week. If anybody needs one, he has two left, WWII dated. For those who don't know, this is the heater which is used to heat water in a trash can to sanitize mess gear, or make field strawberry soda from preserves. If you are messing in the field, you need one. |

Those things are STILL in the Army inventory! We used them on the "Haitian Vacation" in Port-au-Prince in '94! ![]() |
